Tasha Young

Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, practice founder

I’m here to help you finally discover the love, joy, and purpose you deserve.

You spend your days feeling like the weight of the world is on your shoulders. And while things may look “good” from the outside, people don’t know that behind closed doors you’re doing everything you can to keep your partner happy, be there for your children, and simply keep your head above water.

It might feel like God has forgotten about you. You just want to be loved—to feel safe, secure, and confident in your relationships—but no matter what you do to try to earn that kind of affection, you’re just left empty-handed.

What if you could finally start to dream again? To get in touch with what’s truly important to you? To finally say “no” when something (or someone) no longer serves you? Hear me when I say: all of this possible. And I would love to help you discover those keys to freedom that are already within you.

There’s nothing more important to me than you feeling comfortable to share you story with me—it’s only when that can happen that you can truly heal. I have heard it all, so I can hold it all, so you never have to worry about being judged, shamed, or criticized. This is truly a safe space for you.

  • I am not your typical therapist. Clients often describe me as genuine, laid back, and personable, incorporating my sense of humor, warm personality, and ability to truly listen to create an environment where it’s easy to talk to about anything.

At the end of the day, you know yourself, your life, and your experiences best. I simply bring my counseling training and skills to elicit the kind of change that you desire, holding you accountable and cheering you on as you take steps to get there. I meet you right where you are, pulling primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Brainspotting, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

Therapy is hard work, and I will be walking beside you every step of the way, helping you heal while also teaching you new, practical skills that get you closer to the life you truly want.

If you are a woman of faith, I am also happy to incorporate your spiritual life into our work together. We’ll use Scripture and prayer to help you go deeper in your learning, growing, and achieving peace.
